BW3s Dine-2-Donate Fundraiser a Success!
We had a successful Dine-2-Donate fundraising event at Buffalo Wild Wings in Strongsville, Ohio. Not only did we raise funds for the foundation, but also awareness about brain tumors. Thank you for all of your support! (Thank you also to the staff at BW3s who did an awesome job with the event)!

Michael G. Belz Foundation Supports the Gathering Place!
On Sunday, June 6th we came together as a team to support The Gathering Place for the 10th annual Race for the Place. We would like to thank everyone for supporting both the Gathering Place and the MGBF by either joining our team or donating to either organization.The Michael G. Belz Foundation team won an award for "The Largest Community Team" thank you for joining us today! Here are some pictures...there will be more to come!

Michael G. Belz Foundation listed on IBTA site!
We are now listed as a resource on the IBTA website! The International Brain Tumour Alliance (IBTA) seeks to be an alliance of the support, advocacy and information groups for brain tumour patients and carers in different countries and also includes researchers, scientists, clinicians and allied health professionals who work in the area of brain tumours. We will be participating in their International Awareness Week and World Walk! (details to follow)... |

Member of the LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance!
The Michael G. Belz Foundation is now a member of the LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance! Through a coalition of organizations, the LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance brings together for the first time key voices in the cancer community to effect positive results for young adults. The Lance Armstrong Foundation formed the LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance with the knowledge that unity is strength – working together we can raise awareness and effect positive change for young adults with cancer. The goal of the LIVESTRONG Young Adult Alliance is to improve the survival rates and quality of life for young adults with cancer between the ages of 15 and 40. The Alliance is committed to promoting research and the investigation of the problem, serving as a voice for the issue and promoting effective solutions. |

1st Annual Michael G. Belz Foundation Golf Outing

MGBF Adopt-A-Family is In the Works...
Thanks to our donors and the fundraising efforts, we are in the process of formalizing an "Adopt-a-Family" program for patients that are diagnosed with brain tumors. As stated in the MGBF mission we would like to offer H.O.P.E. ensuring that patients are able to celebrate and live life upon diagnosis. More details coming soon... |
